INDIVIDUAL MENTORSHIP FAQS

 

Do I need to hold a specific qualification or training certificate to work with you?

No. You do not need any special clearance to join our mentorship programs. The only requirement is that you are a project professional, delivery manager, or aspiring team leader who is eligible (or working toward eligibility) to sit the official PMP®  exam through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

 

Are you an official PMI Authorised Training Partner (ATP)?

Mindset Decoded is an independent executive mentorship and consulting practice using the Radical Candor approach. We provide private, tailored 1-on-1 coaching, application audits, and personalized study roadmaps utilizing premium industry study tools. We do not independently issue the official "35 contact hours" certificate required to apply for the exam. If you still need your 35 contact hours, we can guide you to the highest-yield, lowest-cost approved methods during our initial strategy phase.

 

Why do I need an application audit? Can’t I just write it myself?

You absolutely can write it yourself, but many busy professionals run into major delays here. PMI uses a strict, automated compliance system that screens for specific keywords and structures based on the Exam Content Outline (ECO). Writing your application like a standard corporate resume is the number one reason candidates get flagged for stressful manual audits or face immediate rejections. Our Tier 1 Audit & Polish translates your messy real-world history into compliant PMI lexicon so you can submit with total confidence.

 

What happens if my application is randomly selected for a PMI audit?

Don't panic! Being selected for an audit is a standard, randomized quality control check by PMI and does not mean you did anything wrong. If you are enrolled in our Tier 1, 2, or 3 programs and face an audit, simply let me know. I will step in to review your verification documents, audit your signature requirements, and ensure your response package is bulletproof before you send it back.

 

What is your coaching methodology? Do you use official materials?
We use a highly effective hybrid methodology. We align fully with the official PMI Exam Content Outline (ECO) and standard frameworks to guarantee your technical compliance. However, we layer my published book, PMP Mindset Decoded, over the top of those guidelines. While other providers force you to memorize dry textbooks, my methodology teaches you the exact situational decision-making strategies, behavioral tactics, and mental stamina needed to crack the actual exam questions on your first try.

 

Which PMP® exam simulator do you recommend for the programs?

We actively track and map score analytics across the leading industry tools, including PMI Study Hall, PrepCast, and the TIA Exam Simulator. During our onboarding phase, we look at your current baseline and tell you exactly which tool fits your specific cognitive learning style best, saving you from wasting money on overlapping or low-quality resources.

 

How do the weekly check-ins and asynchronous coaching work?

For Tier 2 and Tier 3 clients, we use streamlined messaging platforms like WhatsApp or Voxer. This means you do not have to try and align calendar blocks during busy corporate work hours. If you are stuck on a difficult situational mock question or a complex hybrid concept at 8:00 PM, you simply drop a screenshot into our private chat. I review the data and send you a voice note breaking down the examiner's logic within 24 hours.

 

Do I need to purchase an external exam simulator?
Yes, and we will tell you exactly which one to buy during week one. We do not sell a generic, unproven quiz platform. Instead, we give you a proprietary performance framework to unlock the full potential of official industry tools like PMI Study Hall. You practice on their software, and I perform the forensic data diagnostics to fix your blind spots and accelerate your scores.

 

What is your refund or "Pass Guarantee" policy?

Because our mentorship involves direct, customized asset creation (including full application structural rewrites and dedicated calendar building), we do not offer refunds once work has commenced. However, for our Tier 3 Elite VIP Pass clients, we stand by our process: if you follow your custom 6-week roadmap perfectly, maintain our target simulator score benchmarks on your chosen exam simulator (such as PMI Study Hall), and do not pass on your first try, I will continue coaching you 1-on-1 for free until you do.
